FAQs

It presents Indra’s effectiveness as dependent on the Lord’s śakti (power), implying that divine empowerment—not merely personal strength—enables him to fulfill duties and defeat enemies.

It suggests that Indra functions through a delegated share or manifestation of the Lord’s power, emphasizing divine immanence behind cosmic governance and the devas’ capacities.

Competence and victory are framed as gifts of higher power; therefore one should act responsibly in one’s role, avoid pride, and recognize dependence on the divine source.
