मामनुव्रज सौमित्र एको यास्यामि काननम् । द्वितीया मे त्वियं सीता रामेणोक्तस्तु लक्ष्मणः

māmanuvraja saumitra eko yāsyāmi kānanam | dvitīyā me tviyaṃ sītā rāmeṇoktastu lakṣmaṇaḥ

„Folge mir, o Saumitra; allein will ich in den Wald gehen. Diese Sītā soll hier meine Gefährtin sein.“ So wies Rāma Lakṣmaṇa an.
