The Greatness of Puṣkara: Tripuṣkara Pilgrimage, Sacred Geography, and the Doctrine of Self-Restraint

आत्मत्राणपरा भीताः प्राद्रवंस्तु दिशो दश । केचिद्गुहां प्रविविशुर्विकीर्णाश्चापरे द्विजाः

ātmatrāṇaparā bhītāḥ prādravaṃstu diśo daśa | kecidguhāṃ praviviśurvikīrṇāścāpare dvijāḥ

Von Furcht erfüllt und nur auf die eigene Rettung bedacht, flohen sie in alle zehn Richtungen. Einige der Dvijas gingen in Höhlen, andere wurden weithin zerstreut.
