FAQs

It describes a woman preparing or arranging a wide path specifically for an exit (niṣkāsāya), and then turning her thoughts toward her sons after making a firm decision.

Niṣkāsāya literally means 'for leading out' or 'for exit,' suggesting an intentional arrangement to bring someone out safely or to facilitate departure.

The verse emphasizes deliberate planning and resolve (suniścitam kṛtvā) followed by thoughtful concern for one’s children (putrān prati vicintitam).
