श्रीदेव्युवाच । नैव चालयितुं शक्तो भवान्मां दानवेश्वरः । मनसापि न वै धार्यं मम मोहं समागतम्

Śrī Devī sprach: „O Herr der Dānavas, du vermagst mich keineswegs zu bewegen. Auch die Verblendung, die über mich gekommen ist, lässt sich nicht einmal durch den Geist zurückhalten.“
