Mohinī-ākhyāna: The Trial of Ekādaśī and the King’s Satya-saṅkalpa

It teaches that humility before dharmic authority—especially the guidance of learned, disciplined Brahmins—protects one from error and supports righteous living and governance.
Bhakti is sustained by right conduct and right guidance; honoring saintly counsel removes grief and confusion, keeping the devotee aligned with dharma and devotion rather than ego-driven choices.
It underscores the applied role of śāstra-guided counsel—rooted in disciplines like Vyākaraṇa (precise understanding of scripture) and Kalpa (ritual and duty codes)—as authoritative guidance for correct action.
