Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

व्याघ्रचर्मपदस्यांते परिधानाय तत्परम् । शशांककृतशब्दांते शेखराय ततः परम् ॥ १७१ ॥

Transliteration

vyāghracarmapadasyāṃte paridhānāya tatparam | śaśāṃkakṛtaśabdāṃte śekharāya tataḥ param || 171 ||

Translation

Nach dem Wort „vyāghracarma“ (Tigerfell) ist der folgende Ausdruck als „Gewand/was man trägt“ zu verstehen. Ebenso ist nach „śaśāṅkakṛta“ (vom Mond gemacht) der nachfolgende Ausdruck als „śekhara“, d. h. Diadem bzw. Scheiteljuwel, zu verstehen.
