The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra

Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

मृत्युञ्जयो महादेवो देवतास्य समीरितः । भृगुणा दीर्घयुक्तेन षडंगानि समाचरेत् ॥ ११० ॥

mṛtyuñjayo mahādevo devatāsya samīritaḥ | bhṛguṇā dīrghayuktena ṣaḍaṃgāni samācaret || 110 ||

Für dieses Mantra/diesen Ritus wird die Gottheit als Mṛtyuñjaya Mahādeva verkündet; und mit richtig angewandtem ‘bhṛgu’ (dem langen Vokal) soll man die sechs Hilfsriten (ṣaḍaṅga) vollziehen.
