वृत्तिजार्णांल्लिखेदंकैर्व्यत्यस्तक्रमयोगतः । तैर्भेदयो जनं कुर्यात्संदर्भाणामशेषतः ॥ ६ ॥

Transliteration

vṛttijārṇāṃllikhedaṃkairvyatyastakramayogataḥ | tairbhedayo janaṃ kuryātsaṃdarbhāṇāmaśeṣataḥ || 6 ||

Translation

Man soll die metrischen Muster (vṛtti) niederschreiben, indem man ihre Folge umkehrt und permutiert; und durch diese Methoden soll man, ohne Auslassung, die vollständige Einteilung und Ordnung der Textkompositionen (sandarbhas) hervorbringen.
