The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within a technical/ritual teaching section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches inner worship: the cakra is installed and honored within the six subtle supports (inner lotuses), indicating that devotion and protection are to be established in one’s own embodied spiritual centers, not only in external ritual.
Bhakti is expressed through reverent upāsanā—installing the Lord’s symbol (the cakra) and offering pure, sattvic fragrances, showing loving attention, purity, and disciplined worship directed to Viṣṇu.
It reflects kalpa-style ritual procedure: installation (saṃsthāpana) and pūjā with prescribed upacāras (offerings), emphasizing correct materials and method—typical of technical, practice-oriented Narada Purana instruction.
