स्थिरा भूसहिता गोत्रा सदाहोऽग्निरसः स्थिरा । नभश्च मरुता युक्तं रसवर्णसमन्वितम् ॥ ५४ ॥
sthirā bhūsahitā gotrā sadāho'gnirasaḥ sthirā | nabhaśca marutā yuktaṃ rasavarṇasamanvitam || 54 ||
Die Erde ist beständig und dicht, sie trägt das «gotra» (Stammlinien oder tragende Schichten). Das Feuer brennt immerdar, und Geschmack ist sein Wesen. Auch der Äther, mit dem Wind verbunden, ist mit Geschmack und Farbe versehen.
