Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents homa as a dharmic, purificatory discipline where specific sacred and medicinal substances are offered to restore harmony in body and environment, indicating that ritual purity and right offerings can calm afflictions.
Though focused on a technical rite, the efficacy is implied to arise from faithful performance—offering with reverence into the sacred fire—showing that disciplined ritual action can be an expression of devotion and surrender.
It reflects applied ritual science (prayoga)—selection of dravyas (offerings) and homa procedure—aligned with technical traditions associated with Kalpa (ritual practice) and related ancillary knowledge used for correct performance.
