तवर्गाद्यं श्वेतवर्णं घटिकायां तु भार्गवम् । नीलवर्णं पवर्गाद्यं नाभिदेशे शनैश्चरम् ॥ ४५ ॥
tavargādyaṃ śvetavarṇaṃ ghaṭikāyāṃ tu bhārgavam | nīlavarṇaṃ pavargādyaṃ nābhideśe śanaiścaram || 45 ||
Die «ta»-Gruppe, von weißer Farbe, soll an der ghaṭikā (dem Handgelenk) gesetzt werden und steht unter Bhārgava (Venus). Die «pa»-Gruppe, von blauer Farbe, soll in der Nabelgegend gesetzt werden und steht unter Śanaiścara (Saturn).

Though primarily technical, it supports bhakti-sādhana by prescribing disciplined mantra-nyāsa—helping the devotee internalize sacred sound and maintain focused remembrance during worship.
Vedāṅga-oriented ritual phonetics (Śikṣā) and applied jyotiṣa: consonant classes (ta-varga, pa-varga) are linked to colors and planetary deities (Śukra and Śani) for precise nyāsa placement.
