तथा पवर्गपूर्वं तु शुक्लं सोमं भ्रुवोर्द्वये । कवर्गपूर्वं रक्ताभं मंगलं लोचनत्रयम् ॥ ४३ ॥
tathā pavargapūrvaṃ tu śuklaṃ somaṃ bhruvordvaye | kavargapūrvaṃ raktābhaṃ maṃgalaṃ locanatrayam || 43 ||
Ebenso sollen die Silben, die mit der pa-varga beginnen, im Nyāsa als der weiße Mond auf das Paar der Augenbrauen gesetzt werden; und die Silben, die mit der ka-varga beginnen, rötlich schimmernd, als Mars in die drei Augen.
