Bhuvaneśī (Nidrā-Śakti) Mantra-vidhi, Nyāsa–Āvaraṇa Worship, Padma-homa Prayogas, and the Opening of Śrī-Mahālakṣmī Upāsanā
बीजाढ्यमासनं दत्त्वा मूर्तिं तेनैव कल्पयेत् । तस्यां संपूजयेद्देवीमावाह्यावरणैः क्रमात् ॥ २३ ॥
bījāḍhyamāsanaṃ dattvā mūrtiṃ tenaiva kalpayet | tasyāṃ saṃpūjayeddevīmāvāhyāvaraṇaiḥ kramāt || 23 ||
Nachdem man ein āsana (Sitz) dargebracht hat, das mit bīja-Mantras angereichert ist, soll man dementsprechend die mūrti der Gottheit gestalten. Dann, nachdem man die Göttin in dieses Bild herabgerufen hat, verehre man Sie vollständig, Schritt für Schritt, zusammen mit den aufeinanderfolgenden āvaraṇas, den schützenden Umfriedungen.
