FAQs

It presents the Lord (Krishna/Vishnu) through specific epithets that highlight divine protection, righteous restoration (enthroning Ugrasena), and omniscient witnessing—encouraging bhakti through remembrance of His qualities.

Bhakti here is expressed as guṇa-smaraṇa—devotional recollection of the Lord’s compassionate acts and His intimate bond with devotees (Sātvatas) and the Yadu lineage, strengthening personal devotion through praise.

The verse functions like a structured nāma/guṇa listing (useful for chandas-aligned recitation and vyākaraṇa-informed parsing of compounds such as sarva-sātvata-sākṣī), supporting accurate memorization and liturgical chanting.
