Kṛṣṇādi-mantra-varga-varṇana

हंसश्चेति शिखा प्रोक्ता हृल्लेखा कवचं स्मृतम् । प्रणवो नेत्रमाख्यातमस्त्रं हरिहरेति च ॥ १०६ ॥

haṃsaśceti śikhā proktā hṛllekhā kavacaṃ smṛtam | praṇavo netramākhyātamastraṃ harihareti ca || 106 ||

„Haṃsaḥ“ wird im nyāsa als śikhā (Scheitellocke) erklärt; „Hṛllekhā“ gilt als kavaca (Schutzpanzer). Der Praṇava (Oṃ) wird als netra (Augenschutz) gelehrt, und „Hari-Hara“ ebenso als astra (Waffen-Mantra).
