Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It shows that enjoyment of food is sanctified only after dedicating offerings to the Lord and completing purification (ācamana), turning an ordinary act into dharmic worship.
Bhakti is expressed through offering (samarpana) first to Īśa and then serving others; the devotee treats the meal as prasāda and invites others to partake with reverence.
Ritual discipline: the use of water-purification/ācamana before eating and the etiquette of formally inviting participants to dine after the offering—an applied aspect of Vedic ācāra.
