The Account of Hanumān
Narada (narrating to the Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It highlights mutual reverence between Hari (Viṣṇu) and Śambhu (Śiva), presenting harmony and honor as a dharmic ideal rather than sectarian rivalry.
Bhakti is shown as humility expressed through respectful ritual action—offering water and honoring the divine presence in another revered form.
The verse reflects ritual discipline through the use of añjali (cupped palms) and water-sprinkling as a formal act of honor, consistent with kalpa-style (ritual procedure) sensibilities within Vedanga practice.
