The Account of Kārtavīrya’s Protective Kavaca
Kārtavīrya-kavaca-vṛttānta
स्वस्थाः सर्वेन्द्रियाः संतुं शांतिरस्तु सदा मम । शेषाद्या मूर्तयोऽष्टौ च विक्रमेणैव भास्वराः ॥ ११६ ॥
svasthāḥ sarvendriyāḥ saṃtuṃ śāṃtirastu sadā mama | śeṣādyā mūrtayo'ṣṭau ca vikrameṇaiva bhāsvarāḥ || 116 ||
Mögen all meine Sinne gesund und standhaft bleiben; möge der Friede stets in mir wohnen. Und mögen die acht strahlenden Manifestationen, beginnend mit Śeṣa, allein durch die machtvolle Kraft des Herrn erglänzen.
