Mantra-Māhātmya and Sādhana of Kārtavīryārjuna

Nyāsa, Yantra, Homa, and Dīpa-Vrata

आद्ये ह्युपोष्य नियतो ब्रह्मचारी सपीतकैः । प्रातः स्नात्वा शुद्धभूमौ लिप्तायां गोमयोदकैः ॥ ६८ ॥

ādye hyupoṣya niyato brahmacārī sapītakaiḥ | prātaḥ snātvā śuddhabhūmau liptāyāṃ gomayodakaiḥ || 68 ||

Am ersten Tag soll der Übende, nach geregeltem Fasten, als Brahmacārī in Keuschheit lebend und in gelbe Gewänder gekleidet, im Morgengrauen baden und dann einen gereinigten Platz auf der Erde bereiten, mit einer Mischung aus Kuhdung und Wasser bestrichen.
