Mantra-Māhātmya and Sādhana of Kārtavīryārjuna
Nyāsa, Yantra, Homa, and Dīpa-Vrata
प्रीतौ हर्षं च सौभाग्ये शोभनायुष्मतोरपि । करणे विष्टिरहिते ग्रहणेऽर्द्धोदयादिषु ॥ ६५ ॥
prītau harṣaṃ ca saubhāgye śobhanāyuṣmatorapi | karaṇe viṣṭirahite grahaṇe'rddhodayādiṣu || 65 ||
In Angelegenheiten der prīti (Zuneigung) ist harṣa (Freude) gegenwärtig. Für Wohlstand und gutes Geschick werden auch die Kāraṇas Saubhāgya, Śobhana und Āyuṣmān empfohlen. Für die Aufnahme von Riten wähle man ein Kāraṇa ohne Viṣṭi (Bhadrā); und ebenso beachte man die Regeln zu Finsternissen und zu besonderen Anlässen wie Arddhodaya und dergleichen.

While technical, it supports bhakti-practice by guiding when devotional rites, vratas, and worship should be performed so that obstacles are minimized and the sādhaka’s intent is strengthened through disciplined observance.
