Es wird gelehrt, dass man zum Darbringen einer Lampe für Māruti (Hanumān) ein Bildnis (pratimā) aus Milch, frischer Butter, Quark oder sogar aus Kuhdung formen kann.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse emphasizes practical, sattvic worship: devotion to Māruti is supported by simple, ritually pure materials, showing that sincere upāsanā can be performed with accessible offerings.
By prescribing humble, readily available substances for making a worship-image and offering a lamp, it frames bhakti as attainable through disciplined but simple acts of reverence (dīpa-dāna) to Māruti.
It reflects ritual-technical knowledge—proper materials and procedure for an offering (dāna/upacāra). This aligns with Vedāṅga-style precision in observances (kalpa-oriented practice), especially in dīpa-dāna rites.
