Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the technical procedure of mantra-sadhana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It emphasizes humility and exactness in sadhana: the practitioner must submit to the discipline of the rite and empower ritual substances through sustained japa.
By describing the sādhaka as 'servant-like,' it frames practice as devoted service—obediently following injunctions and offering effort (japa) with reverence.
Ritual technique and mantra-prayoga: timed practice (night observance), fixed-count japa (sahasrāvṛtti), and mantra-consecration of materials (ash and water) used in rites.
