Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 5

Śeṣoditya-Sūrya-nyāsa, Soma-sādhana, Graha-pūjā, and Bhauma-vrata-vidhi

विष्णवे तु शिखावर्म रुद्राय परिकीर्तितम् । नेत्रं स्यादग्रये पश्चात्शर्वायास्रमुदाहृतम् ॥ ५ ॥

viṣṇave tu śikhāvarma rudrāya parikīrtitam | netraṃ syādagraye paścātśarvāyāsramudāhṛtam || 5 ||

Die „Śikhā-Rüstung“ (śikhā-varma) ist Viṣṇu zuzuweisen und wird auch für Rudra verkündet. Das „Netra“ (Auge) soll vorn gesetzt werden, und danach wird das „Astra“ (Mantra-Waffe) für Śarva ausgerufen.
