Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 83

Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata

सहस्रकृत्वो मनुना मंत्रयित्वा प्रयत्नतः । स्नातामृतुदिने शुद्धां शुक्लांबरधरां शुभाम् ॥ ८३ ॥

sahasrakṛtvo manunā maṃtrayitvā prayatnataḥ | snātāmṛtudine śuddhāṃ śuklāṃbaradharāṃ śubhām || 83 ||

Nachdem man sie mit dem vorgeschriebenen Mantra tausendmal sorgfältig geweiht hat, bereite man die glückverheißende Frau vor: am bestimmten Tag gebadet, gereinigt und in weiße Gewänder gekleidet.
