Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata
अथ सर्वेष्टदं वक्ष्ये चतुरावृत्तितर्पणम् । मूलेनादौ चतुर्वारं प्रत्येकं च प्रतर्पयेत् ॥ ४१ ॥
atha sarveṣṭadaṃ vakṣye caturāvṛttitarpaṇam | mūlenādau caturvāraṃ pratyekaṃ ca pratarpayet || 41 ||
Nun werde ich das vierfache Tarpaṇa im Zyklus darlegen, das alle gewünschten Früchte gewährt: zu Beginn soll man mit dem Wurzelmantra (mūla-mantra) die Darbringung viermal vollziehen; und ebenso soll man jedes angerufene Wesen einzeln, jeweils gesondert, sättigen.
