Der Grund, weshalb von der (sogenannten) sekundären Ordnung der „siebenknotigen“ Anordnung gesprochen wird, ist dieser: Im zugrunde liegenden Träger sind die Qualitäten (guṇas) hier nicht getrennt aufgeteilt—so wie in einer zusammengesetzten Grundlage die Anteile von Erde und den übrigen Elementen nicht isoliert vorliegen.
