Sanatkumāra’s Bhāgavata Tantra: Tattvas, Māyā-Bonds, Embodiment, and the Necessity of Dīkṣā

निजवर्णाश्रमाचारान्मनसापि न लंघयेत् । यो यस्मिन्नाश्रमे तिष्ठन्दीक्षां प्राप्नोति मानवः ॥ ११४ ॥

nijavarṇāśramācārānmanasāpi na laṃghayet | yo yasminnāśrame tiṣṭhandīkṣāṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ || 114 ||

Man soll die Pflichten und Ordnungen des eigenen varṇa und āśrama nicht überschreiten, nicht einmal im Geist. Denn der Mensch empfängt die dīkṣā, während er in dem āśrama fest gegründet bleibt, in dem er steht.
