Im Kṛta-Yuga ist Nārāyaṇa von weißer Gestalt, vollkommen rein. Nun werde ich die Dharmas des Tretā-Yuga darlegen — höre mit wohlgesammeltem Geist.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links Yuga-dharma with the manifestation of Nārāyaṇa, stressing purity (sunirmalatā) and the need for focused listening as the basis for receiving dharmic instruction.
By commanding “śṛṇuṣva susamāhitaḥ,” it highlights śravaṇa (devotional hearing) with concentration—one of the foundational practices of Viṣṇu-bhakti.
The practical takeaway is disciplined śravaṇa and mental samādhāna (composure) as prerequisites for learning dharma—an applied method of instruction rather than a specific Vedāṅga topic.
