द्रव्यजातं तु देवस्य हर्तुकामोऽतिसाहसी । उत्तंकं हंतुमारेभे विधृतासिर्मदोद्धतः ॥ २९ ॥
dravyajātaṃ tu devasya hartukāmo'tisāhasī | uttaṃkaṃ haṃtumārebhe vidhṛtāsirmadoddhataḥ || 29 ||
Gierig nach dem Besitz der Gottheit stürzte sich jener überaus verwegene Mann — das Schwert gezogen, von Hochmut geschwollen — auf Uttaṅka und begann ihn in Tötungsabsicht anzugreifen.
