Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa
तत्तु लौहेन पात्रेण ह्यायसेनाथवा पिबेत् । ताम्रेण वाथं पात्रेण तत्पीत्वा मरणं व्रजेत् ॥ २६ ॥
tattu lauhena pātreṇa hyāyasenāthavā pibet | tāmreṇa vāthaṃ pātreṇa tatpītvā maraṇaṃ vrajet || 26 ||
Man sollte das nur aus einem Gefäß aus Eisen trinken – oder aus einem aus Stahl. Wenn man es jedoch aus einem Kupfergefäß trinkt, geht man nach dem Trinken in den Tod.
