Varṇāśrama Saṁskāras, Upanayana Windows, Brahmacārin Ācāra, and Anadhyāya Prohibitions

एतत्कालावधेर्यस्य द्विजस्यातिक्रमो भवेत् । सावित्रीपतितं विद्यात्तं तु नैवालपेत्कदा ॥ १४ ॥

etatkālāvadheryasya dvijasyātikramo bhavet | sāvitrīpatitaṃ vidyāttaṃ tu naivālapetkadā || 14 ||

Lässt ein Zweimalgeborener die vorgeschriebene Frist verstreichen, ohne die Sāvitrī-Disziplin zu üben, so wisse man: er ist von der Sāvitrī abgefallen; man soll ihn zu keiner Zeit anreden oder mit ihm Umgang pflegen.
