Suta (narrator)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It highlights sadācāra (right conduct): approaching elders with humility and reverence, especially in the context of purification practices like snāna, which supports inner purity alongside outer ritual cleanliness.
Though not directly describing devotion to Viṣṇu, it models the devotional temperament—humility, respect, and surrender—qualities that mature into bhakti when directed toward the guru, sages, and ultimately the Lord.
The verse reflects ritual discipline connected with kalpa (proper procedure) and śauca (purity) through snāna, emphasizing correct conduct before or during sacred acts.
