Narada (teaching in a dharma-upadesha context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that anna-dāna (offering food) becomes spiritually potent when done with bhakti-bhāva and within one’s means, honoring Brahmanas first and then sustaining one’s household in a disciplined, dharmic order.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent service—feeding the worthy with devotion rather than display—showing that inner attitude (bhāva) is central to meritorious action in Narada Purana’s devotional dharma.
Primarily kalpa (ritual procedure): the practical rule of hospitality/feeding—doing it ‘according to capacity’ and maintaining proper sequence—reflects applied dharma and household rite (gṛhya-style discipline) rather than technical grammar or astrology.
