Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: Śrīdhara-vrata (contextual continuation)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It prescribes a complete devotional act—mantra, orderly pūjā, and fire-offerings—centering the worshipper’s mind on Śrīdhara (Viṣṇu), integrating inner reverence with outward rite.
Bhakti is expressed through humble salutation (“namo’stu”), respectful upacāras (gandha and other offerings), and disciplined repetition (108 homa offerings), showing devotion as sustained, reverent practice.
It highlights ritual procedure (kalpa/śrauta-smārta prayoga): performing pūjā in proper sequence (kramāt), and conducting homa with a specified oblation substance and count (108).
