Narration of Dharma
Sanatkumāra (teaching Nārada in dialogue context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta (wonder)
Secondary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
It highlights the doctrine of karma-phala: meritorious actions can yield exalted but time-bound rewards such as enjoyment in Svargaloka, lasting here for “five kalpas.”
Indirectly, it contrasts reward-based outcomes (heavenly enjoyment) with higher aims often emphasized in bhakti—seeking the Lord beyond temporary pleasures—by showing that svarga is a result to be enjoyed, not the final spiritual goal.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this verse; it functions as a results statement (phala) describing the consequence of prior dharmic/ritual merit rather than detailing śikṣā, vyākaraṇa, or jyotiṣa.
