विद्या कर्म च शौर्यं च ज्ञानं च बहुविस्तरम् । अर्थार्थमनुशीर्यंते सिद्धार्थस्तु विमुच्यते ॥ ७१ ॥

vidyā karma ca śauryaṃ ca jñānaṃ ca bahuvistaram | arthārthamanuśīryaṃte siddhārthastu vimucyate || 71 ||

Gelehrsamkeit, rituelles Handeln, Tapferkeit und selbst weit ausgebreitetes Wissen werden immer wieder um weltlichen Gewinnes willen verfolgt; doch wer das wahre Ziel erreicht hat, wird von der Bindung befreit.
