Anadhyaya and the Winds: From Vedic Recitation Protocol to Sanatkumara’s Moksha-Upadesha

ततोऽनध्याय इति तं व्यासः पुत्रमवारयत् । शुको वारितमात्रस्तु कौतूहलसमन्वितः ॥ ७ ॥

tato'nadhyāya iti taṃ vyāsaḥ putramavārayat | śuko vāritamātrastu kautūhalasamanvitaḥ || 7 ||

Da hielt Vyāsa seinen Sohn zurück und sprach: „Dies ist die Zeit des anadhyāya (da die vedische Rezitation auszusetzen ist).“ Doch Śuka, nur für einen Augenblick gehemmt, blieb voller Neugier.
