Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
स्वोञ्चेष्वार्की तथा ज्यारैरुक्तैकांगे नृ पाधिपाः । लग्रे वर्गोत्तमेऽब्जे वा चतुरादिग्रहेक्षिते ॥ १७० ॥
svoñceṣvārkī tathā jyārairuktaikāṃge nṛ pādhipāḥ | lagre vargottame'bje vā caturādigrahekṣite || 170 ||
Wenn Saturn in seinem eigenen Zeichen oder in Erhöhung steht und ebenso Jupiter in der beschriebenen Anordnung als ein einziger vorherrschender Faktor wirkt; und wenn der Aszendent entweder vargottama ist oder im Wassermann steht und von den Planeten ab dem vierten Haus aspektiert wird, dann wird man ein Herr unter Königen.
