FAQs

In its current transmitted form the verse is too corrupted to extract a precise doctrinal point; however, the surviving words suggest a theme of auspicious merit linked with prosperity (vṛddhi), austerity (tapas), and sacred symbolism (Gaṅgā, the Moon). A verified edition is needed for a faithful interpretation.

This specific reading does not explicitly mention Vishnu, bhakti, japa, kīrtana, or pūjā. If the intended verse belongs to a list of religious observances in Moksha-dharma, it likely supports devotion indirectly by prescribing meritorious disciplines; confirmation requires a corrected Sanskrit text.

The mention of the Moon (śaśī) could point toward Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology/astronomy) in a broader ritual-timing context, but the verse is not coherent enough to assert a specific Vedanga teaching without an authenticated reading.
