मृगादौ प्रोह्यचक्रात्तु मध्याह्नेऽर्कः स्फुटो भवेत् । तन्मंदमसकृद्धामंफलं मध्यो दिवाकरः ॥ १४३ ॥
mṛgādau prohyacakrāttu madhyāhne'rkaḥ sphuṭo bhavet | tanmaṃdamasakṛddhāmaṃphalaṃ madhyo divākaraḥ || 143 ||
Wenn die Sonne im Zyklus vom Zeichen an voranschreitet, das mit Mṛga (Mṛgaśīrṣa, „der Hirsch“) beginnt, wird sie zur Mittagszeit deutlich offenbar. Dann ist ihre Wirkung sanft, ihr Glanz nicht übermäßig; so ist die Frucht, wenn Divākara, der Tagbereiter, in der Mitte seines Laufes steht.
