वक्रिणश्चक्रशुद्धैस्तैरंशैरुजुतिवक्रताम् । क्रमज्या विषुवद्भाघ्नी क्षितिज्या द्वादशोद्धृता ॥ १२० ॥
vakriṇaścakraśuddhaistairaṃśairujutivakratām | kramajyā viṣuvadbhāghnī kṣitijyā dvādaśoddhṛtā || 120 ||
Anhand jener bereinigten Grade der Planetenbahn bestimme man die Abweichung vom geraden (direkten) Lauf hin zur Rückläufigkeit. Die fortlaufende Sinusgröße (kramajyā) wird mit dem Äquinoktialfaktor multipliziert, und der Horizont‑Sinus (kṣitijyā) ergibt sich durch Teilung durch zwölf.
