Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning
Narada (teaching a technical astrological rule within the Moksha-Dharma section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It frames worldly outcomes—speed or delay in action and gain or debt—as patterned results of cosmic order (ṛta) read through Jyotiṣa, encouraging disciplined, dharmic decision-making rather than impulsive attachment to outcomes.
Indirectly: by showing that material conditions like wealth or debt fluctuate by time and karmic indicators, it supports the Bhakti attitude of steadiness and surrender—acting rightly while keeping the mind anchored beyond changing results.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: a rule connecting planetary placement in kendras (from Aries) with the pace of results in karma, and a financial indication where specific planetary measures (liptā-ādi), from Libra onward, are read as pointing to debt.
