Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames everyday rites—graduation from studentship, marriage, consecration, house-related ceremonies, travel, and entry—within a dharmic lens where observable signs (lakṣaṇas) guide right timing and right action.
While not directly teaching bhakti practices, it supports a bhakti-aligned life by emphasizing orderly, auspicious performance of karmas—especially consecration (pratiṣṭhā)—which traditionally centers worship and remembrance of the deity.
It points to śakuna/nimitta reasoning and timing of rites—closely associated with Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology) and ritual procedure—using events like immediate rainfall as interpretive indicators.
