Kalpa-Lakṣaṇa and Gṛhya-Kalpa: Classifications, Purifications, Implements, and Spatial Rite-Design

श्रीपर्णी च शमी तद्वत्खदिरश्च विकङ्कतः । पलाशश्चैव विज्ञेयाः स्रुवे चैव तथा स्रुचि ॥ ४० ॥

śrīparṇī ca śamī tadvatkhadiraśca vikaṅkataḥ | palāśaścaiva vijñeyāḥ sruve caiva tathā sruci || 40 ||

Śrīparṇī und Śamī ebenso, ferner Khadira und Vikaṅkata, und auch Palāśa—diese Hölzer sind als die geeigneten zu erkennen, um sruva (Schöpfkelle) und sruc (Opferlöffel) anzufertigen.
