Bharata’s Attachment and the Palanquin Teaching on ‘I’ and ‘Mine’

अहं त्वं च तथान्ये च भूतैरुह्याश्च पार्थिव । गुणप्रवाहपतितो भूतवर्गोऽपि यात्ययम् ॥ ६० ॥

ahaṃ tvaṃ ca tathānye ca bhūtairuhyāśca pārthiva | guṇapravāhapatito bhūtavargo'pi yātyayam || 60 ||

O König, ich und du und auch die anderen—ja selbst die Scharen der Wesen wie die Pflanzen—diese ganze Menge der Geschöpfe, in den Strom der Guṇas gefallen, zieht weiter, dem Wandel und der Auflösung entgegen.
