Bharata’s Attachment and the Palanquin Teaching on ‘I’ and ‘Mine’

समाहृतैः स्वयं द्रव्यैः समित्कुशमृदादिभिः । फलैः पुष्पैंस्तथा पत्रैस्तुलस्याः स्वच्छवारिभिः ॥ १२ ॥

samāhṛtaiḥ svayaṃ dravyaiḥ samitkuśamṛdādibhiḥ | phalaiḥ puṣpaiṃstathā patraistulasyāḥ svacchavāribhiḥ || 12 ||

Mit den von einem selbst gesammelten Gaben—wie Opferholzstäbchen, Kuśa-Gras, Ton und dergleichen—zusammen mit Früchten, Blumen und Blättern sowie mit reinem Wasser, das zusammen mit Tulasī dargebracht wird, soll man die Verehrung vollziehen.
