The Exposition of the Dvādaśī Vow for the Twelve Months

Dvādaśī-vrata-nirṇaya and Mahā-dvādaśī Lakṣaṇas

संसारपाशविच्छित्तिकारकं ज्ञानसागरम् । अस्यास्तूपोषणादेव मुक्तः स्याद्विप्र भोजनः ॥ ११३ ॥

saṃsārapāśavicchittikārakaṃ jñānasāgaram | asyāstūpoṣaṇādeva muktaḥ syādvipra bhojanaḥ || 113 ||

Dies ist ein Ozean des Wissens, der die Fesseln des Saṃsāra durchtrennt. Schon durch das Pflegen und Unterstützen seiner Stūpa (Gedenkheiligtums) erlangt der, der Brāhmaṇas speist, Befreiung.
