The Narration of the Navamī Vow Observed Across the Twelve Months
Narada
Vrata: Navamī Devī-pūjā (Caṇḍikā)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It states the phala (result) of Navamī worship: honoring Caṇḍikā with proper ritual brings divine companionship and exalted heavenly enjoyment, symbolized by a vimāna.
Bhakti is shown through disciplined upāsanā—worship performed with faith and prescribed method (vidhi). The verse links sincere devotional action to closeness with the devas and auspicious spiritual reward.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Jyotiṣa (tithi-based timing) are implied: the act is tied to Navamī tithi and must be done vidhinā (according to rule), reflecting vrata/pujā protocol.
